Tomorrow is the Day - trial by iron

Call it an impulse, call it a reclamation of self. Tomorrow, I cross the threshold.

I’ve debated between an ear piercing and a nipple piercing, but I keep coming back to the latter. The thought of the sharp sting freaks me out a little—I won't pretend otherwise. I postponed it once before, let an appointment slip through my fingers, and walked away. But that hesitation is gone now.

This isn't about making a public statement or performing for anyone else. It is personal, quiet, and deliberate. A hidden anchor beneath my clothes; a small beacon of change that belongs only to me.

Life has been throwing a lot my way lately, both the good and the heavy. Somewhere along the line, you realize you need to reconnect with the person you used to be—that free spirit that never really left, just got buried under routine and responsibility.

A needle through skin is a small act in the grand scheme of things. But sometimes, an intentional moment of pain and permanent mark is exactly the catalyst you need to turn the page and keep moving forward.

Time to sit in the chair.

Signing off.
